The Thundershirt helped too with relieving the 'pre-firework' jitters around sundown.

Tuesday evening (8th November) took us by surprise though with the neighbours at the front letting off a load fireworks at around 8pm. These were the closest we'd had all season ~ some real window-rattlers ~ and, assuming all fireworks would be over by the end of the weekend, I hadn't given Tilly any melatonin or put her Thundershirt on her! She was in her crate when they started so I grabbed some cream cheese and gave her a melatonin tablet and then smeared some cheese in her Kong ~ amazingly, she seemed totally unphased, and continued to calmly lick cream cheese from her Kong throughout the entire display, then came out and snoozed by the fire for the rest of the evening!Lizi Angelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08456347513920960655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6843673663504429052.post-55536418082976464602011-11-06T21:33:00.872+00:002011-11-06T21:33:00.872+00:00What a great blog.
