What chicken doesn't supply in comparison to lamb is the range and levels of B vitamins, so when feeding raw, whether your own menu of RMB or BARF, or ready-made raw meals, I think that it's best to include a variety of protein sources over the course of a week. My own choice for my dogs is Natural Instinct's lamb, tripe, and chicken and lamb varieties, and their turkey and lamb 'Banquet' varieties. My two also get a portion of tinned oily fish during the course of a week (I add this to the tripe), and a raw egg on Sunday. Balance over time is key I think.Lizi Angelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08456347513920960655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6843673663504429052.post-62671320367280602582011-05-11T11:59:50.919+01:002011-05-11T11:59:50.919+01:00Great article Lizi - I have tried raw for my two a...Great article Lizi - I have tried raw for my two and they loved it, I just could not find a consistent supplier so glad you have provided a source of one for us to try. I also feed my dogs as a treat an organic raw chicken wing once a week and adjust food accordingly - they love it and I would like to know of your thoughts on this?soniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16009585813041162899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6843673663504429052.post-54903947436610425512011-05-11T08:40:45.631+01:002011-05-11T08:40:45.631+01:00Thanks for your comments ladies, I look forward to...Thanks for your comments ladies, I look forward to hearing about your adventures into raw feeding too ... xLizi Angelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08456347513920960655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6843673663504429052.post-60868124635721308642011-05-10T19:50:19.125+01:002011-05-10T19:50:19.125+01:00Fab, Lizi.

I really, really want to start feeding Porscha raw but we just don't have the space for another freezer :-(

Like David, my husband Richard really isn't having any of the 'shared' freezer

When we move, I will definitely be switching.

Jo xxJoannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14860486125395760189noreply@blogger.com
